Welcome to Stackoia!

We're thrilled to announce the first release of Stackoia to our early waitlist users. If you're reading this, that means you’re one of them!

What is Stackoia?

Stackoia lets you share filtered views from your Notion workspace without exposing your entire master database. This gives you more control over what information you share with others.

Why Private Beta?

We're currently in private beta, which means only a select group of users have access to the application. This allows us to gather valuable feedback from early users like you to help us:

  • Shape our roadmap: Your input will directly influence the features and functionalities we prioritize for future releases.
  • Identify key use cases: We want to understand how you use Stackoia to ensure we're building a product that solves your problems effectively.

Release Cycle and Feedback:

We're committed to rapid iteration. Expect new releases every two weeks! If you have a feature request or suggestion, we encourage you to reach out and let's chat. Your feedback is crucial for our development process.

What can you already do with Stackoia?

  • Create your organization. There’s a limit to owning only one organization in private beta. However, you can join unlimited organizations as a member or guest.
  • Connect your Notion workspace (and select which pages to share).
  • Invite unlimited members and guests, and edit their roles.
  • Create applications. Applications can have unlimited sections. There’s a limit to only five applications per organization in private beta. We’re working on removing this limit for paid plans in a future release.
  • Each application section can have the following types:
    • Gallery
    • Table
    • List
    • Board
    • Calendar
    • Form
    • Notion Page
    • Buttons
  • For each application section:
    • Customize Database Source: Select the specific Notion database that will feed pages into this application section.
    • Choose Properties to Display: Pick the exact page properties from the chosen database that you want users to see within this section.
    • Organize with Sorting: Define a property to sort the displayed pages for easier navigation (e.g., sort by due date, name alphabetically).
    • Customize Filters: Set up multi-layered filters based on a page's property values. You can refine the displayed pages based on specific criteria (e.g., filter tasks by client name, "completed" status, or priority).
  • Create multi-step automations (similar to Notion’s Button) for Form and Buttons section types.
  • Assign visibility to applications (public, restricted, private).
  • Assign granular permissions to guests (only for restricted applications):
    • View the application
    • Create a new page in a Notion database
    • Edit page’s properties
    • Edit page’s content
    • Create a comment on a page
